Pantala flavescens (Wandering Glider or Globe Skimmer), much discussed these days because of the paper released by Biologist Charles Anderson on longest insect migration. The paper says it to be the longest insect migrant and comes all the way from Africa to Indian subcontinent every monsoon. It's far greater than also the famous Monarch butterflies migration which covers half of the Americas.
